The seats are incredibly uncomfortable. My luggage didn't make it on my flight from London to Nashville.
Paid for first class and was surprised that the seats were the same in economy except no one was in the middle seat. I expected an actual first class seat.
App totally screwed me up trying to check in. Would not let me select a reasonable seat and therefore I was stuck in a totally uncomfortable seat for 7 hours. Will not take the chance again and use other airlines in future where no issue choosing seats
Business class to Istanbul. Packed flight. Cabin crew seemed incapable of differentiating between economy and business passengers with regard to access to the WC which meant whole flight I had people standing in aisle and leaning into my aisle seat, queueing for the front WC. Crew put it down to a lack of curtain between the two classes. The seats, for a 3hrs55 min flight were just standard seats with middle seat unoccupied. So nothing special apart from the food, which was mediocre. Aside from the roast chicken dinner (‘special’ traditional British menu option, which looked poor but tasted good I gather). However 2 king prawns does not make a main course salad.
Didn’t even get on the flight!! BA had a system crash and knocked many peoples boarding passes back for the connecting flight which we all would have made but ended up missing due to being refused past the barrier. There was one member of staff on and when he shift swapped the new staff member called us liars and that we were going to be too late for our flight hence the knock back which was false. I was an hour and ten minutes early for my connection flight at the time of scanning the boarding pass. Waited for three hours and ended up having to book a train home myself which was 4 hours long! Staff were useless and entire experience was an inconvenience. I had been travelling for three months and of course it was when I was back in my home country that I had the first muck up! Will not be touching BA to fly again
I never travelled better and more comfortably than with this flight because I was upgraded to the business class! it was amazing in every aspect. I was able to lay down and sleep, and the food was comparable to a gourmet restaurant menu. The flight was not only on time, but even much earlier, the crew was excellent as well. It felt like a very nice reward after so many uncomfortable and frustrating travels in the past decades. Even though most of my past trips were not with BA, they gave me a memorable gift with this favor. Thank you British Airways!
First leg delay, rescheduled second leg without our approval, cancelled rescheduled second leg, rescheduled cancelled leg to three days later...
The check-in experience was truly awful. Despite checking in online and providing our passport details in advance, we had to wait for over an hour for staff to verify our passport and visa requirements. The time saved by checking in online and having no luggage to check in was completely lost.
Took off 35 minutes late and took 20 minutes to get into a gate. For those with connecting flights it made the connection tight. I would not fly DAT again
The crew was attentive . The boarding gate was assigned incorrectly. It was closed and no directions were provided. The alternative gate was "next door" but it was my guesswork, not proper communication from the airport/airline. The flight was delayed over 1 hour. I missed a train connection. The amount of food was very minimal on this flight.
