Cons:We arrived at 3:40am & the ac was broken in our room & they had no other room to put us in until the morning
Pros:Everything was very clean and comfortable.
Cons:The continental breakfast left much to be desired but free is free.
Cons:The night manager criticized the day manager unnecessarily even though he was able to fix the issue. No customer should need to be informed of personal discontent over the prior managers mistake. Simply apologize on behalf of the company, fix the issue and move on. It was unprofessional to slight a fellow coworker to a customer. That kind of thing should be taken care of in a private meeting with the coworker, to teach him what he could have done better.
Pros:The free breakfast was very complete with many options to choose from
Cons:I reserved a king bed, but when I got to hotel, was given 2 regular size beds and the end of the hall. It was apparent that the hotel was not full, so the only reason I can find is that I booked with a discounted service, therefore I did not get the room I requested.
Pros:Hotel itself was fine
Cons:I booked a room with a king bed through kayak, I received a room with two twin beds. I immediately addressed my problem with the front desk and was told since I booked it through a third party I would have to contact them. I was further told they were sold out and there was probably nothing that could be done anyway. I was tired and did not have time to address it with kayak so I let it be. I will book in the future directly with the hotels.
Pros:They were able to change the date to Saturday after I made the mistake of reserving it for Sunday, the staff was very professional and nice.
Cons:The room smelled like someone left the window open when it rained so it had a wet carpet smell

Cons:The hotel is completely smoke-free so there was no surprise stinky room. We arrived very late and the overnight staff is friendly and helpful. They had free breakfast when we were there although I did not see that listed on the website. This hotel is approximately 7 1/2 miles from rutgers University.
