The Econo Lodge hotel is ideally located off Highway 160, just three miles from the Great Pagosa Hot Springs, the world's largest and deepest hot mineral spring. This hotel is surrounded by mountains and provides convenient access to the Rocky Mountain Wildlife Park, Wolf Creek Ski Area and the San Juan Pioneer Museum. The Chimney Rock Archaeological Area is nearby and Durango, Colorado is about 60 miles away. Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of outdoor recreational activities, including golfing, white water rafting, fly fishing, hiking and biking. Pros:Easy location on and off hwy 160. Gas and restaurants close bye.Lots of activities in the area.
Cons:I don't know why the pool was only open 3pm to 10pm. I was planning on a dip in the morning before check out.The pillows were fine but the bed was a little uncomfortable. Average breakfast nothing too exciting but plentiful. $109.67 two queen beds. Should be more around $75-$80.But spending area because it is a beautiful resort town.
