Pros (+) I liked the location - several blocks from the water front - grocery store directly behind the hotel is also very nice - the dinning area was pleasant and the food was great! Try the Eggs Benedict you will not be disappointed!
Cons (-) If it were possible to update the building and keep the boutique feel that would be nice - otherwise its an old building with all original plumbing/heating/fixtures - the walls are thin, you will hear other guests even if they are talking at a normal level.
Pros (+) It's an older hotel, so it has a romantic charm.
Cons (-) The rooms could be updated. The old window air conditioner was loud through the night.

Cons (-) We initially had a room that smelled like smoke. After telling the staff about this, they instantly changed our room to a different one. They made a bad situation into a great situation.

Pros (+) Refreshing vintage style (Built and operational since the 20s) with modern updates. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was more than curtious. I wanted to move in.
