Like: Close proximity to downtown restaurants. Free Parking. Dislike: - Large area of peeling paint in the shower. - Burnt out light bulb. - No bedding for the sofa bed. When requested, an incomplete set was brought to the room. Had to request again for a flat sheet and pillows. - Bed was not made on day 2. The cover was roughly pulled over the bed. - On day 2, used towels were removed, but no clean towels. Had to call the front desk for towels. Had to go to the front desk to get the towels. - No housekeeping. Front desk person answered the phone. - Price gouging on university move-in day.
Pros:The bed was comfortable.
Cons:Shower floor had pink mold that I asked to be cleaned as soon as I arrived but no one ever came. Above my room it sounded like something heavy was being rolled around on the floor and made it difficult to sleep. Maybe it was the elevator? Or maybe the construction that I wasn’t informed about prior to my stay. My whole floor smelled strange, but I can’t pinpoint what it smelled like. Would not stay here again when coming to Lafayette.
Pros:The staff were great--very responsive to requests and welcoming.
Cons:There was a really bad sewer smell in the lobby when we arrived, but our room and the floor we were on was fine. The sewer smell reappeared in the lobby a few times during our stay.
