They literally had no cars available when we got there, had to wait in a long line and then they gave us a slip to go get an SUV and there were literally no cars available in the lot. The employees had been telling people to just get into whatever car they wanted. Happenstance that the first car that pulled up from being cleaned while we waited was an SUV.Reviewed 21 Oct 2024

Pickup was a nightmare. My flight arrived at 3:30pm. I wasn’t on the road with a car until after 4:45. That’s >75 minutes! And I followed their instructions for fast pickup or it would have been longer. Also they gave a spiel about MA law saying Hertz would charge us hundreds per day if their car was in an accident and insurance won’t cover it, basically forcing us to get extra insurance and doubling the price. We wanted to go to eastern CT. Never flying into Boston again. Besides that it was good: nice car, clean, easy drop-off.Reviewed 22 Aug 2024

Excellent! Fast, easy pick up and drop off and AMAZING customer service from Julio, they go above and beyond! Got my partner and I a Lyft home and ice cold bottled water - didn’t even have to ask! I showed up with a prepaid reservation, ID and forms of payment, and even went to the trouble of checking in online. I spent 2:30 hours in front of the counter and on hold with Hertz customer support before we finally figured out the issue their system was having and got me my car. It was an absolute nightmare. I booked my car for 48 hours, but when I tried to drop it off after 47 hours, I learned the drop off location had closed 30 minutes earlier. Because the location was closed at the expiration time of my reservation, they charged me an extra day It would have been nice, when I picked up the car, if they had pointed out that the return location was going to be closed at 5pm on Saturday, as I could have easily been there by the 4pm closing time.Reviewed 15 Apr 2024

Pick up was painful! Waited over 45 minutes to get to the agent. I had to go to the counter to pick up the car. The women behind the counter talked me into the full option. I wasn’t paying attention as we were ready to get going but on top of the prepaid rental they added the fuel plus $100 in fees. Then at drop off there was no one around and the line at the counter to speak to an agent was too long as we need to catch our flight.Reviewed 31 Mar 2024

Car was dirty from the outside. Service was poor...the agency sent incorrect invoice indicating and charging for 7 gallons of fuel when car was returned with full tank. Either agency is incompetent or too lazy to check vehicle fuel gauge.Reviewed 30 Mar 2024

We made a small mistake on the app when requesting the rental. We put pick up and drop off as the same location. In order to change the rental we paid $160 MORE for the rental. We didn’t have a choice as we were in an emergency situation and not many places with cars left.Reviewed 6 Mar 2024
