10.0 Wonderful
Very pleased with the hotel from the room, staff, breakfast, etc. Very close to 6th Street and downtown Austin. The only downside is the homeless population nearby, partially the result of the Salvation Army being down the street. None of the homeless people appeared to be belligerent and I didn't feel unsafe. Another plus was Stubb's BBQ being right around the corner. I ate there twice.

Cons:The homeless people around the hotel. You were more then scared to even go outside during the day let alone at night.

Pros:Interiors are super nice and clean. The room itself is spacious and comfortable. Staff was accommodating with all our requests.
Cons:As other peoole mentioned, you probably will be passing by the homeless shelter anytime you travel South (rainey, 6th, the river). It didn't feel dangerous but I probably would be nervous walking past there alone at night.

Pros:When they were dealing with challenges related to the new construction including poor hot water supply in my room.
Cons:They rose to the challenge of some construction challenges with a new building and quickly got me moved to a new room and were empathetic and understanding.
